　　Postdoctoral Fellow – Leukemia Research

　　We are seeking a highly motivated post-doc to join the Yun lab. We are using mouse models and clinical data to explore novel therapeutic vulnerability of hematologic malignancies, specifically focusing on DNA and RNA methylation.

　　Position Highlights:

　　• Work closely with the PI to disover novel therapeutic targets in AML and ALL.

　　• Investigate the mechanisms of novel drugs and resistance mechanisms in leukemia.

　　• Validate laboratory findings in primary patients samples or/and in clinical data.

　　The Ideal Candidate:

　　• Previous experience with mouse models or epigenetics, is advantageous, but not essential.

　　• Experienced in culturing and maintaining cells that include primary cells.

　　• Well trained in basic in vitro experiment techniques including immunoblotting, qRT-PCR, DNA/RNA manipulation, etc.

　　Responsibilities:

　　• Design and perform experiments independently or limited supervision.

　　• Data analyses, presenting data in meeting, and writing manuscripts.

　　• Mentoring graduate and undergraduate trainee in the lab.

　　Credentials and Qualifications:

　　• MD or/and PhD in molecular biology, tumor biology, molecular pharmacology or area related to cancer research.

　　• Candidate should have publication records in peer reviewed journal as a first author.
