卢森堡大学博士后职位招聘
The University of Luxembourg is a multilingual, international research university.
The Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) of the University of Luxembourg is a highly dynamic working environment. The LCSB is leading the Luxembourgish representation in the European bioinformatics infrastructure ELIXIR. This Luxembourgish ELXIR Node hosted in the LCSB is dedicated to translational medicine data management.
To support a newly funded Innovative Medicine Initiative (IMI) FAIRplus project focusing on developing the guidelines and tools needed to make IMI and EFPIA clinical and translational data FAIR, we are looking for a:
Research Associate (postdoc) in the field of clinical and translational medicine informatics (f/m)
Your Role
· Involve in the development of transparent criteria for the selection of data sources within completed and ongoing IMI projects for FAIRification – the process to improve the level of Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability and Reusability of data.
· Identify, recommend and implement existing metadata standards for different data types (e.g. pre-clinical/clinical: phenotype, imaging, genomic, and other molecular data).
· Participate in the maintenance, further development of ELIXIR-Luxembourg IMI data catalogue (https://datacatalog.elixir-luxembourg.org) and collection of study metadata into it.
· Dissemination of IMI catalogue that lists all FAIRified databases handled by the consortium
· Electronic medical records, clinical and omics data curation, standardization, integration and analysis using standards such as OMOP CDM/OHDSI, HL7/FHIR, i2b2 or similar.
· Work closely with other team members on the design and implementation of FAIRification process.

Dr. Venkata Satagopam (venkata.satagopam@uni.lu)
Research Scientist, Bioinformatics Core Facility and Technical coordinator of the ELIXIR-Luxembourg Node
Your profile
· A PhD in computer science, computational biology, bioinformatics, biomedicine or similar, with an interest in biomedical informatics and translational medicine.
· Good knowledge of electronic medical records, clinical and translational data standards and analysis frameworks such as OMOP CDM/OHDSI, HL7/FHIR or similar.
· Proven work experience with clinical and translational medicine data curation, harmonisation and standardisation.
· Knowledge of standards, controlled terminologies and ontologies.
· Computer scripting/programming (Java or Perl or Python) is a requirement.
