　　Applications are invited for a postdoc to join the group of Dr Marta Shahbazi at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) in Cambridge, UK to work within a programme aimed at understanding how tissue shape modulates stem cell plasticity. Specifically, to characterize the molecular determinants and roadblocks of reprogramming in 3D epithelial cultures.

　　Candidates should have a PhD in a relevant subject or be due to complete doctoral studies within 6 months of applying. Previous experience of stem cell and organoid culture, and reprogramming would be particularly useful as would experience of long-term live imaging, and image analysis.

　　The successful applicant will be awarded a three-year Career Development Fellowship / Postdoctoral training Scheme position. This is a training and development position for a post-doctoral scientist who has recently completed their doctoral studies, is moving into a new research discipline or has limited experience of key transferable skills. The MRC LMB has excellent scientific core facilities and training opportunities.
