美国达特茅斯-希区柯克医疗中心 (DHMC) 博士后—免疫细胞转化调节

Research Post Doctoral Fellow, Gastro Researchs

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC)

Postdoctoral Associate – Translational regulation in immune cells

The Sundrud lab at Dartmouth Hitchcock, Lebanon, New Hampshire is seeking outstanding and highly motivated postdocs to study pathways of translational regulation that govern the development and function of T cells. We have identified novel and pharmacologically-accessible pathways downstream of amino acid deprivation, which selectively block pro-inflammatory T cell development and function via transcript-selective translational repression (PMID: 19498172, 22327401, 24489094, 32253314).

The lab has received new NIH funding to define the molecular machinery that T cells use to sense amino acid deprivation, and direct regulated protein synthesis (learn more about our work at www.sundrudlab.com).

The successful candidate will assume a leadership position within the lab; set the tone for both scientific and scholarly excellence; drive forward complex, innovative and translationally impactful projects; develop and write fellowship applications; and participate in a variety group and departmental seminar and journal club series. In return, you will gain critical experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic group environment, and receive full-time support from a Senior Research Assistant. The Sundrud lab utilizes both human and mouse immunology systems to ask fundamental and translational research questions about T cell-mediated inflammation. As such, the training and experience you receive in the lab can be carried forward in either Academic or Industrial research settings.
