　　Job Description

　　Job Purpose

　　A Postdoctoral Associate position is available in the Department of Molecular and Human Genetics. This research lab uses genomics/epigenomics approach and induced pluripotent stem cell models to understand the disease pathogenesis of inherited cardiomyopathy and heart failure.  The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated and have a track record of publications (first-authored publications in respected journals).

　　Job Responsibilties

　　Plans, directs and conducts specialized and advanced research experiments.

　　Evaluates and analyzes data.

　　May establish new research protocols and procedures.

　　Summarizes research findings and publish results in research journals.

　　May be responsible for laboratory operations.

　　May supervise research staff.

　　Minimum Qualifications

　　Education: Ph.D in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.

　　Experience: None required.
