Applications are invited for an IOI Postdoctoral Research Associate – Crystallography & Biophysics to work under the supervision of Professor Christopher Schofield until 31st December 2025. The project aims to combat antimicrobial resistance via a multidisciplinary approach.

Applicants must hold a PhD in Biochemistry/ Biophysics/Protein Crystallography or a related field, (or be close to completion) prior to taking up your appointment. The research requires experience in in solving and refining protein-ligand/fragment crystal structures (e.g. using CCP4, Phoenix, Pymol) and PDB deposition. You will be expected to manage your own academic research and administrative activities. This involves small scale project management, to co-ordinate multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines.
The post will be based in the Department of Chemistry, Chemistry Research Laboratory, Mansfield Road, Oxford and is available as soon as possible.
